Visiting New Hope Baptist Church

• What to expect when I arrive?
  
  Enter the church on either First Street or Berdan Place. Once you enter the vestibule, you’ll find friendly Ushers that will assist you with directions to the sanctuary or wherever else you need to be.

• What is the worship service like?
  
  Although N.H.B.C. is predominately African-American, we welcome people from all backgrounds and cultures. There is no dress code or expectation except on third Sunday when we are requested to dress down in jeans and leave a $3.00 offering for the privilege; that is contributed to Camp Hope. where we assist deserving children attend Summer Day Camps in the area.
  
  The Worship Service style ranges from traditional to contemporary to charismatic as we are moved by the Spirit of God who is free to disrupt our order whenever He wants however He wants.. It is usually 1 1/2 hours in length. You’ll be surprised how fast the time goes as we enter into the presence of God through praise and worship, and hear an inspirational message from the Senior Pastor, Dr. Manning or one of our other able Preacher/speakers. 

• We are ministered to by one of four choirs: First Sunday the Mass or great choir, Second Sunday Sons and daughters of Song, Third Sunday our awesome Youth choir, Fourth Sunday the Master's  Men an all male choir, Fifth Sunday the Mass or Great Choir.
